Operation Frontline

Operation Frontline is a community service program for those struggling to feed their families on a limited income and who may be at risk for hunger and poor nutrition. Area chefs, dieticians and other food industry professionals conduct this six-week course, which teaches nutrition education, cooking skills, food budgeting and basic sanitation information with each session focusing on a specific theme. In addition, volunteer financial planners teach the skills needed to make money-wise decisions on a low-income budget.

Operation Frontline is a program administered by VNA with Share Our Strength and is nationally sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc.
