IV Therapy/Pharmacy

The VNA is one of the area’s largest providers of home care and IV therapy in the home setting helping our patients to reach the highest level of independence possible.

Our clinicians assess patients before they are discharged from the hospital whenever possible, and then develop, in conjunction with his/her physician, a plan of care specifically stating the medications prescribed, mode of infusion, duration of care, and prognosis.

As an integral part of the infusion service, patients and caregivers also receive complete verbal education and written training materials for their plan of care. Our goal is to help the patient and caregiver become as independent as possible. We provide home-based compassionate and quality care to patients including but not limited to:

  • Infectious Diseases
  • Cancer
  • Gastrointestinal Diseases
  • Chronic or Terminal Pain
  • Immune Deficiencies
  • Cardiovascular Diseases
  • Neurological Diseases
  • Pre- or Post-Transplantation
