Home Health Aide Services

VNA Home Health Aides assist patients with many of their day-to-day activities such as bathing and general personal care. The aides function under the supervision of registered nurses. The patient's nurse and occupational therapist work together to compile a plan of care for the Home Health Aides, which they follow at all patient visits.

Every VNA Home Health Aide is specially trained and equipped to provide routine medical assistance, therapeutic care and incidental services such as the following:

• Taking vital signs
• Administering drops or ointment
• Oxygen assistance
• Dressing changes
• General cleaning
• Laundry
• Light meal preparation
