Patient Advocate/Visitation

Patient Advocate/Visitation volunteers visit VNA patients in area nursing care facilities or in the patient's home on a weekly or every other week basis. Volunteers provide companionship and conversation for the patient, as well as being an advocate for the patient in regard to their health care.

Volunteers receive a two-hour orientation and are mailed weekly patient visitations lists. Volunteers are also provided with monthly support meetings.
