Hospice
Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate care for patients and their families who are facing a terminal illness. Volunteers help our team by providing companionship for our patients and/or caregiver relief. Each volunteer chooses the hours and locations throughout the Omaha and surrounding communities that best suit his or her schedule. We serve patients in their homes, nursing facilities, and at Hospice House.
Volunteers complete 16 hours of hospice training before becoming a part of our hospice team of volunteers. For more information or to become a hospice volunteer contact Cindy Calhoun, Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, at (402) 930-4236, or ccalhoun@vnaomaha.org.
